Arbois Blanc Tradition 2018 - Domaine Rolet 75cl

Domaine Rolet Arbois "Tradition" is a unique and iconic white wine from the Jura region, blending 50% Chardonnay and 50% Savagnin. The vines are located on exceptional plots, such as Château Gimont and Sous le Viaduc, in Montigny-lès-Arsures, where they thrive on gray Lias marl, a rare soil in the Arbois AOC.

This wine is the result of meticulous vinification and aging: the grapes are harvested and sorted by hand. The Savagnin is aged under a veil in oak barrels for 4 years, developing oxidative aromas characteristic of the Jura, while the Chardonnay is aged for 4 years in topped-up barrels to preserve its freshness. The two grape varieties are blended three months before bottling, for perfect harmony.

This wine is best enjoyed between 12 and 14°C and can be stored for over 10 years, during which time it will continue to improve. It pairs perfectly with cream and mushroom-based dishes, especially morels, shellfish, mature cheeses, as well as spicy or sweet and savory dishes, revealing all the complexity of its aromas and elegant structure.
