Peaky Blinders Saint Emilion Grand Cru 2018 - Vignobles Bardet 75cl
The Cuvée Peaky Blinders Saint-Émilion Grand Cru 2018 is the result of a unique collaboration with the famous television series Peaky Blinders . This wine embodies the spirit of the iconic 1920s and pays homage to the winemaking methods of the time. Created with meticulous care, this cuvée is part of a historical approach, supported by the collaboration with a wine historian.
Produced from a selection of plots around the old port of Saint-Émilion, on sandy soils over gravel, this wine reflects the terroir cultivated by the ancestors of the Bardet family in the 1920s. The vineyard is cultivated according to agroecological practices, certified High Environmental Value (HVE) level 3 and ISO 14001, with natural and permanent grass cover.
The blend, composed of Merlot and Cabernet Franc, produces a wine with a deep, intense color. The nose reveals complex aromas of black fruits, licorice, and spices. On the palate, the wine offers an elegant, full texture, with silky tannins and a fruity, velvety finish. Vinification takes place in old concrete vats, followed by barrel aging for 18 months, for a perfect balance between tradition and modernity.
This 2018 vintage is intended for long-term storage, with the potential to evolve for over 15 years. Ideally enjoyed between 16 and 18°C, each bottle of this cuvée invites you on a journey through time, offering a memorable sensory experience worthy of the Shelby banquets.
