Narassa 2022 - Lafage 75cl

Lafage's 2022 Narassa was born from an unexpected discovery in 2014, when forgotten rows of vines were vinified as a dry wine, despite their high degree of ripeness. This wine is distinguished by dominant aromas of blackberries, wild herbs, and peppery notes. On the palate, it is full-bodied and rich, with silky tannins and a fresh finish that gives it a surprising elegance.

Grown in the Agly Valley on black schist soils, the wine benefits from a hand-picked selection of the finest Grenache grapes, followed by cold maceration to extract color and fruit. A portion of the cuvée is aged in old barrels previously used for sweet natural wines.

The 2022 Narassa pairs perfectly with a selection of charcuterie, a cut of meat or blue cheese, and can even be enjoyed with a chocolate dessert.
