Château Du Paradis 2016 - Vignobles Bardet 75cl
Château du Paradis is an 8-hectare estate located on a gravelly ridge in Saint-Émilion, an exceptional terroir composed of gravel, clay, and sand carried by the Dordogne River. This unique soil accumulates and reflects heat, thus promoting the concentration, complexity, and aromatic finesse of the grapes. The vineyard, with an average age of 40 years, is cultivated according to environmentally friendly practices, certified High Environmental Value (HVE) level 3 and ISO 14001. Soil maintenance is based on total and permanent natural grassing.
The winemaking process is distinguished by innovative techniques. Alcoholic fermentation is carried out directly in barrels, allowing for a harmonious integration of wine and wood. Thanks to precise intra-plot selection, facilitated by unique technologies such as Tribaie and Calibaie, each batch of grapes is optimally treated. Maceration is achieved by infusion with total immersion of the marc, promoting gentle extraction without the use of pumps. This process enhances silky tannins, reflecting the exceptional quality of the terroir.
Château du Paradis produces Saint-Émilion Grand Cru appellation wines, a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon. These wines are designed for long-term aging, with the potential to evolve for over 15 years. They are ideally enjoyed between 16 and 18°C, revealing all their richness and elegance.
