Corton Grand Cru Rouge "Les Grandes Lolières" 2022 - Captain Gagnerot 75cl

Capitain Gagnerot's 2022 Organic Corton Grand Cru Rouge "Les Grandes Lolières" is a 100% Pinot Noir wine made from Aargau clay-limestone soils characterized by gray limestone. Harvesting is done by hand, with sorting and destemming, followed by alcoholic fermentation in open vats for approximately 15 days, with two punch-downs per day at the beginning of the process. Aging lasts 12 to 15 months in oak barrels, 10% of which are new.

This wine boasts a deep, brilliant purple color. The nose offers rich aromas of black cherries, which evolve into tertiary notes of undergrowth with age. On the palate, it is distinguished by its robust structure, beautiful balance, remarkable power, and elegance. It pairs perfectly with full-flavored cheeses and meats in sauce. Best served at an ideal temperature of 15°C.
